My Journey

The next morning, I woke up and thanked God instead – for I thought differently unlike the previous day. I thought of Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight. Yes. Trust Him. Place my faith in God whom I know He loves us dearly.

On April 26 2018, I started my very first IVF injection before a patient nurse(sister Sarah) and my husband. My belly bobbed up and down like a buoyant! In my mind, I desperately asked God to guide my sweaty palms and clumsy fingers through my first self-injection onto my belly.

My husband has yet to accept Christ. Therefore, I had to rely on prayers and support from my Christian friends. Fortunately he does not mind about the public knowing about our IVF attempt, and I am thankful that I can share my experiences with his support because while reflecting, I also found some peace and closure to every experience.
